Soundbars, home cinema, multi-room audio and projectors all promise a lot on the box. What actually determines whether a system sounds and works well is how it is set up in your room: speaker placement, cable routing and a rack that is tidy enough to leave alone. That is the part we focus on.
Soundbars and surround sound
A soundbar fitted flush under the television and correctly connected makes a bigger difference than most people expect, and a poor connection or a mistimed subwoofer undoes a lot of that benefit. Where a room calls for full surround sound, we plan speaker positions and cable runs before fitting anything, so the result matches what the system is actually capable of.
Home cinema, sized to the room you have
Not every home cinema needs a dedicated room and a full rack of equipment. We are just as often asked to improve the sound and picture in an existing living room as we are to fit out a purpose-built cinema space.
Where a dedicated room is the plan, we work through screen size and viewing distance, speaker placement, and how the equipment will be hidden or displayed, before any cabling goes in.
Multi-room audio
Multi-room systems work best when they are planned around the cabling and network your house already has, rather than forcing a single product across every room. We assess whether a wired, wireless or hybrid approach suits your property, then install speakers, amplifiers and controls so each room can be used independently.
Projectors and screens
Projector installations depend on throw distance, ambient light and ceiling or wall structure as much as the projector itself. We position and mount the projector and screen to suit the room, and run the cabling so it is concealed rather than trailing across the floor.
Tidy racks and cable management
An AV rack with cables labelled, dressed and secured is far easier to live with, and far easier for an engineer to fix later, than one wired in a hurry. We build racks so that adding or swapping a component later does not mean starting again from scratch.
DAB and FM radio aerials
Where a property still relies on DAB or FM radio, whether for a kitchen radio or an integrated hi-fi system, we can fit or improve a radio aerial at the same visit as your AV installation, rather than treating it as a separate job.

Can you fit a soundbar and surround sound system I have already bought?
Yes. Bringing your own equipment is common, and we will position and connect it properly, including cable concealment and calibration to the room, rather than simply plugging it in.
Do you supply the equipment as well as installing it?
We can supply equipment or work with what you already have. Either way, the visit includes discussing what will actually suit the room before anything is fitted.
What is involved in multi-room audio if my house is not already wired for it?
We look at the practical options for your property, which may include wireless speakers, a hybrid of wired and wireless zones, or new cabling where access allows. We will tell you which approach suits the house rather than pushing a single system.
Can you hide all the cables for a projector installation?
In most rooms, yes, either by running cable through the ceiling void and wall cavities or using discreet surface trunking where chasing is not possible. We agree the approach with you before work starts.
Do you offer ongoing support if something needs adjusting later?
Yes. If a setting needs revisiting or a component is added later, call us and we can advise over the phone or arrange a further visit.
