We install, move, realign and repair satellite systems of every kind: Sky dishes, Freesat, European and foreign-language satellites, and motorised dishes that track more than one position. Because we are independent, the survey is about your property and your viewing rather than a subscription.

Alignment is measured, not eyeballed

A satellite dish that is a fraction of a degree out will work in clear weather and fail in rain. We align with a satellite meter, set skew and elevation properly, and check signal quality as well as strength, so the system has enough margin to hold a picture through an Oxfordshire winter.

If your existing dish is sound, realignment is usually all that is needed. We will say so rather than sell you a replacement.

Foreign-language and multi-satellite television

This is specialist work and a large part of what we do. We regularly install:

Difficult sites are normal work here

Where a dish has to go high, on a chimney, on a flat roof, or out of sight of the street, we have the access equipment and the experience to do it safely. Listed buildings and conservation areas often need the dish sited at the rear or screened, and we are used to specifying installations that will not attract a complaint.

When satellite is the better answer

Some properties will never get reliable Freeview: deep valleys, heavy tree cover, or a roofline with no line of sight to a transmitter. In those cases a dish is not an upgrade but the only sensible option, and Freesat gives you the main channels with no subscription at all.

My picture breaks up when it rains. Is the dish faulty?

Usually the dish is simply not aligned tightly enough, so there is no signal margin left when rain absorbs part of it. A meter-based realignment normally restores full margin. Occasionally the LNB or the cable has taken in water and needs replacing.

Can you move a dish to a less visible position?

In most cases yes, provided the new position still has clear line of sight to the satellite. We check the sightline before quoting, because moving a dish to a wall that is obstructed by a tree or a roof simply moves the problem.

Do you install motorised dishes?

We do, and it is a regular part of our work rather than an occasional job. A motorised system lets one dish serve several satellite positions, which suits households watching channels from more than one country.

Will you set up my receiver as well as the dish?

Yes. We tune the receiver, check the channel list you actually want is present, and show you how to switch between satellites or services before we leave.

Do you charge extra for difficult access?

Any access requirement is priced and agreed before work starts, so there are no additions on the day. Where scaffolding or a tower is genuinely needed we will tell you at the quoting stage.
