We are an independent aerial and satellite company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by Sky in any way, but we do a great deal of work on Sky dishes: new installs, house moves, realignments and repairs, priced and booked directly with us rather than through Sky's own service.

Why customers choose an independent installer

Booking Sky's own engineer usually means going through Sky's customer service, and some jobs, particularly high-height installations or unusual mounting positions, are declined outright by their standard process. As an independent company we can often take on the jobs that get turned away, and we can also work with customers who simply prefer to book locally and directly.

To be clear, we have no commercial relationship with Sky. We are not authorised to sell Sky subscriptions, activate cards or resolve viewing card and account issues, which remain matters for Sky directly. Our work is the physical dish, cabling and signal.

The jobs other engineers sometimes decline

A steady share of our satellite work comes from properties where access is awkward:

  • Tall chimney stacks and steep or slippery roof pitches
  • Listed buildings where the dish position needs particular care
  • Flats and upper floors with no easy ground access
  • Dishes mounted on outbuildings, garages or boundary walls
  • Properties where a previous engineer has refused the job

What we can and cannot help with

We install, move, align and repair the dish, LNB, cabling and wall outlets, and we can add extra points for additional Sky boxes. Anything relating to your Sky subscription, viewing card, account or software on the box itself needs to go through Sky, and we will tell you plainly if that is the case for your issue.

Questions we are asked about this work

Are you part of Sky or working on their behalf?

No. We are an entirely independent aerial and satellite company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by Sky, and we book and price our own work directly with customers.

Can you install a dish for a new Sky subscription?

Yes, we can supply and fit a dish suitable for Sky reception. You would still need to arrange the subscription itself, the viewing card and any box directly with Sky, as that side of things is outside what we do.

Sky's engineer said my roof was too high or too awkward. Can you still do it?

Often, yes. High-height and awkward-access work is a regular part of what we do, and our engineers are trained and equipped for it. We would still assess the specific property before confirming, as some sites genuinely are unsafe to work on.

Can you fix a fault on an existing Sky dish?

Yes, we repair and realign existing dishes regardless of who originally installed them. Common causes of lost signal are wind-induced misalignment, water ingress at the LNB, or a damaged cable.

Will using an independent installer affect my Sky subscription or warranty?

The dish and cabling are not part of a Sky subscription agreement, so having them serviced independently does not affect your viewing package. If you have a specific concern about equipment supplied under a current Sky contract, it is worth checking directly with Sky.

Tell us what your television is doing.

Describe the fault or the job and we will tell you what is likely involved, what it should cost and when we can be with you. No obligation, no pressure.
